An African Ambassador in reply to a question, after a speech, as to who she supports in the current electioneering campaign in America:
Well, let’s put it this way. I am the same age as Senator McCain, so I support him. I am black and I am African, so I support Senator Obama, and I am a woman, and I support Senator Clinton.
This certainly gives a new meaning to diplomatic double, nay, triple-speak.
